• ALPINE - Considered to be one of the most beautiful areas in the western United States. The Alps of Arizona is at an elevation above 8000' and boasts one of the highest golf courses in the US - yes, the ball does travel further! The 400 or so year around residents relax with cool summers and mild but snowy winters.
• NUTRIOSO - "Nutri" residents enjoy magnificent views of 10,987' Escudilla Mountain along with Noble Mountain and Gobbler Peak. The 500 or so year around residents live at an elevation between 7500-8000'. Winters are milder than Alpine and only 20 minutes to "town".
• GREER - The 300 or so Greer residents live in the Little Colorado River Valley at an elevation above 8000'. This area is known for its fine dining and quick access to area lakes and rivers. The climate in Greer is very similar to Alpine - you'll need a snow shovel!
• ROUND VALLEY - The sister cities of Eagar & Springerville are nestled at the base of the mountains at an elevation just above 7000' with approximately 7,500 residents. This is the commercial center for the Eastern White Mountains with a hospital, banks, and supermarkets.
